Surrounded by vineyards and perfectly integrated into the landscape of the Murcian Altiplano, Barahonda represents more than a century of history linked to wine in Yecla. A family history that is now in its fourth generation and that maintains a close connection with the territory, with Monastrell as the main variety and a way of understanding wine that begins in the vineyard. The contemporary architecture of the winery opens to the landscape and allows the visitor to discover the production process and the identity of Barahonda through different wine tourism proposals. Visits to the winery, vineyards and tastings bring the history, wines and environment of a winery that combines tradition, innovation and respect for the territory closer. Among its proposals stands out Barahonda 360, an innovative virtual reality experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the universe of the winery and discover the vineyard, the landscape and the origin of its wines from a different perspective. The experience is completed with the Barahonda Restaurant, located on the upper floor of the winery and recognized with a Michelin Star and two Repsol Suns. Its cuisine is based on local produce and the flavors of the territory to develop a contemporary and creative proposal, closely linked to the landscape and wine culture. Desde 1946, Bodegas La Purísima selecciona y elabora el fruto de las mejores viñas para crear LOS GRANDES VINOS DE YECLA. Un compromiso con la calidad, la innovación y la tradición vinícola, reconocido con numerosos galardones internacionales y la confianza de miles de clientes en todo el mundo. Bodegas La Purísima fue fundada en 1946 por varios agricultores que se unieron para mejorar la calidad de los vinos de Yecla. Su empeño y su voluntad por elaborar grandes vinos les llevó en 1975 a la obtención del título de D.O. Esto fue, todo un logro para estos agricultores que inscribieron la D.O. nº 27, la D.O. Yecla, haciendo de ella la única D.O. cuyo límite está en el límite del término municipal al estilo de las más prestigiosas AOC francesas. Hoy en día Bodegas La Purísima se sitúa entre las más importantes de la región y sigue siendo fiel al espíritu de sus fundadores: Calidad y Autenticidad

El edificio histórico de la bodega está a día de hoy inmerso en un proceso de renovación para adaptarlo a las exigencias de la elaboración de vinos parcelarios y de autor, aún así se han respetado los antiguos depósitos de cemento y parte de la maquinaria antigua que permite al visitante descubrir cómo era la elaboración de vino en el siglo XX. Es un proyecto basado en la identidad de la D.O. Yecla. Priorizamos la variedad autóctona Monastrell y nuestros vinos expresan las características de nuestra privilegiada ubicación. Sostenible. Nuestra viticultura es sostenible, respetamos el medio ambiente con prácticas que nos permitan legar nuestro principal tesoro, el viñedo, a las próximas generaciones. Innovador.
