AT FULL SAIL
At any time of the year, winter or summer, under a clear blue sky, we can learn how to sail (Snipe, Laser, 470) with expert instructors, sheltered by the coast at a safe sea. The Mar Menor's quiet waters, mainly in the early morning, are Europe's best school to learn and enjoy dinghy sailing. Do you want to go full sail by taking advantage of the wind strength? Then choose the catamaran. They've been designed to reach a median speed which is higher than that of monohull sailboats, but still preserving stability due to their two hulls. A catamaran offers the possibility to experience the feeling of flying over the water totally safely, even with little wind. Test yourself by trying to control a catamaran and discover the importance of team work. A real challenge for nature, adventure and sea enthusiasts.

GET ON YOUR BOARD
Windsurfing allows you to integrate with water and wind, keeping a balance with them and taking advantage of their strength and energy. The perfect place for this communion with the elements is the Mar Menor, with light and moderate winds. Because of its quiet, warm shallow waters and full safety, learning how to sail is here like a game. When the Mediterranean turns wild and the sky is clouded, the east wind appears. But at the Mar Menor, you'll be protected from the strength of the sea and will be able to go on sailing.

KITESURF AND STAND-UP PADDLE
The Mar Menor is definitely one of the best places in the world for an introduction to kitesurf due to its special natural conditions. It is a really safe sea with shallow waters and non-gusty winds. Experienced professionals will provide you with the necessary equipment to enjoy the activity. Stand-Up Paddle or SUP is a worldwide emerging sport in which the person is standing up and rowing on a big surfboard. It has old references and is an old way of surfing. It started when surf instructors noticed that if they stood up on the board and moved in this way they could manage their big groups of surfers much better, increasing visibility of what was happening around them.

Sailing the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean on a sailboat, enjoying the sun and the wind while feeling the swell is another exciting activity proposed by the Estación Náutica Mar Menor - Cabo de Palos. There are sailboat charter and rental services with or without skipper, which will allow you to learn the basic foundations of sailing while enjoying the open air; discover hidden spots of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean; or be touched by a spectacular sunset on the deck. You can enjoy these two seas as a couple, with your family, your friends... Moreover, our partner companies offer you the possibility to carry out training in order to obtain the necessary licences to sail with this kind of boats.

MOTORBOAT RACING, WATER SKIING, SKIBUS, FLYBOARD...
Motorboat racing is pretty much like gliding on the water, either on an agile single-seater or a steady two-seater or three-seater. The experience of motorboat racing at the Mar Menor will be remembered with excitement: you will reach an inconceivable speed for any other sea; a rush of adrenaline and fun are guaranteed for speed enthusiasts.
Start trying the exciting water skiing here, since it is a useful and simple practice. Don't worry if you have no experience at all; you'll be able to learn everything you need to know in order to enjoy this wonderful sport in a safe way. If you're an expert, you just need to rent the equipment or, if you already have it, just enjoy skiing as you never did before.
Skibus is one of the funniest activities and you don't need any training to enjoy it. You just need to hold as long as possible without falling from a banana skibus which is propelled by a motorboat.
Flyboard is a new water sport. A board under your feet with two powerful jets will allow you to fly over the water, dive into it, jump like a dolphin and twirl around. Flyboard is easier than it seems: almost everybody succeeds in flying when trying for the first time. You don't need to be strong but balanced and, of course, you should enjoy playing with the water.

We have boats with a capacity of up to 100 persons available to organise parties, stag nights, hen nights, etc. Moreover, these boats go on everyday summer sea excursions with scheduled times to discover the Mar Menor by means of routes of its five islands, go to the Mediterranean Sea and see the Isla Grosa island, etc.

If you go through the Mar Menor on a canoe, you have many different possibilities. You can explore any of its five islands: Barón, Redondela, Sujeto, Ciervo and Perdiguera; visit Las Salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar Nature Park; or go across any of the five channels linking the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. Learn how to move about on a canoe, an open boat with Canadian origin: you have to propel yourself with a single-bladed paddle. Maybe you prefer a kayak: a boat of Eskimo origin which is almost totally covered, where you have to sit and move about with the help of a double-bladed paddle.
