Mula
Did you know one of the thorns of Jesus Christ crown is in Mula? That´s right. Apparently, the relic was among the valuable objects Elena of Costantinopla brought. The crown belonged Balduino the second who offered to Luis IX. For many years the thorns were left from Kings to nobles. In Spain there are two of them , one in Barcelona cathedral and the other in the Royal Monastry of la Encarnación in Mula. Fray Pedro de Jesús, Christ child seer. Pedro Botía was born in Mula in 1633 . Almost all his family members died due to the bubonic plague in 1648, then he went to live with some relatives in El Niño de Mula village. That year, while he was working as a shepherd, Christ child appeared and invited to follow him. He did it professing as a franciscan lay brother. He lived in different Cartagena diocese monasteries and travelled to Holy Places. Christ child appeared again in Asís and told him to come back Spain. In his return journey Fray Pedro met the Count of Lemos who introduced him in the court. There he met Juan José de Austria, Carlos II brother. they became friends and Pedro de Jesús was one of Juan Jose confidants for fourteen years.

Desde 1992, La Tartana se ha convertido en un establecimiento de referencia en la ciudad gracias a su cocina elaborada y equilibrada, donde comer una gran variedad de carnes, pescados, arroces y platos sobresalientes de la tradición culinaria de nuestra región. Recientemente renovado estéticamente como gastronómicamente se encuentra ubicado en la calle peatonal más céntrica de Cartagena: Puertas de Murcia. La Tartana tiene una amplia terraza ideal para ver la Semana Santa de Cartagena y/o observar el día a día de la ciudad, cabe destacar que se encuentra en el edificio modernista del arquitecto Víctor Beltri construido en 1906.

Caravaca de La Cruz
Alfonso XI gave to the Order of Santiago and his Infante Don Fadrique the administration of his villa castles from Caravaca, Cehegín and Bullas. He gave to Pedro López de Ayala the encomienda of Caravaca. In 1450 the Encomienda stops belonging to the Order of Santiago to become a secular manor of Alfonso Fajardo the brave. In 1461 the Order recovers the encomienda and since then significant changes start happening regarding the True Cross. From the beginning of 1470 until 1525 the vicar Diego Chacón and his brother, the governor of the Kingdom of Murcia and the Knight Commander of Caravaca, Juan Chacón, had to make important interventions in the chapel. They placed their weapons next to those of the relic. It is the beginning of a relationship that is no longer with the Order to become part of the family. The veneration of the Fajardos for the True Cross and that will last until well into the 18th century. Only during the Fajardos‘duty the encomienda of Caravaca will keep fiction of an Order of Santiago owner and lady of those territories. After the expropriation of the Order of Santiago, it fell into private hands.

Totana
Identidad de la ciudad de Totana, fue edificada en el siglo XVII (1606-1608). Construida según traza del arquitecto Juan Fernández y ejecutada por el maestro Juan de Zabala, alarife totanero. Se levantó con el claro objetivo de situar el reloj y las campanas, elementos de convocatoria a la liturgia y la oración de réquiem así como para organizar las tandas de riego. Esta torre de tres cuerpos, se erigió utilizando como material básico el ladrillo visto. El segundo cuerpo está rodeado por una baranda que estuvo "dada de azul y oro fino" y en cuya base se encuentran una serie de mascarones. Con bóveda o chapitel se cubrió en épocas anteriores. En la actualidad se remata con unas almenas, propias del gusto neogótico del siglo XIX. Bajo ellas, terroríficas y fantásticas, aparecen las gárgolas, realizadas en cerámica por las manos diestras de alfareros locales.
