Alhama de Murcia
Visita guiada en inglés por el centro urbano con un guía oficial habilitado. Duración: 90 min. aprox. Plazas limitadas. Inscripción previa obligatoria. Punto de encuentro: Oficina de turismo (Plaza Constitución, 10). El abono de la visita se realiza el día de la visita en la oficina de turismo, preferiblemente con tarjeta bancaria. Descubre Alhama de Murcia a través de una ruta panorámica en inglés por su centro urbano. Conoce la historia de la villa a través de sus calles, plazas y monumentos más emblemáticos. Esta ruta es exterior y accesible para personas usuarias de sillas de ruedas. Por razones de seguridad en el recorrido, no se permite el acceso con animales de compañía. También disponible en español, en otras fechas, bajo el título "Un paseo por Alhama".

Puerto de Mazarrón (Mazarrón)
The coast’s insecurity due to Barbary pirate threats caused many towers to be built along the coast in Mazarrón, allowing for people to live as fisherman and farmers on the coast. The Tower of La Cumbre, or Old Tower of the Port, or Tower of Santa Isabel is located on a tall hill which in its time would have dominated the Port. It is currently engulfed by the urban part of Puerto of Mazarrón. The tower is made on a circular base and slightly truncated circular body, with two vaulted sections. It has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

The Tower of the Horses, in Bolnuevo, was built in the 16th century, some years after the Tower of La Cumbre at Puerto de Mazarrón. It was built for the same purpose as the other tower: to control this part of the littoral zone in the event of possible Barbary pirate invasions, which were a constant concern for the settlement. Its existence ensured calm for fishing in the inlet. In later centuries, the tower went through restorations and repairs, some within the restoration program performed on coastal towers during the 18th century. In the mid-twentieth century a chapel was added, dedicated to La Purísima Concepción in commemoration of the well knowned Miracle of the Virgin, although before this chapel was erected there were already some ancient buildings attached to the tower. The Tower has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest.
